Over 10 million people in North Karnataka live on less than $0.26 a day.
Over 110,000 children in the age group of 7-14 years old are out of school and working either in fields or as daily wage labourers.
Poverty is fueled by a lack of education and healthcare, making children between 9 and 13 years old highly susceptible to human trafficking.
